What Sunward is

Sunward Impact Windows & Doors helps South Florida homeowners research impact-window and door projects and submit project details for estimate follow-up. We publish local planning pages, cost guidance, permit information and quote-comparison checklists so a homeowner can ask better questions before signing a contract.

Sunward is an information and estimate-request service, not the manufacturer of the products discussed on this site. Installation and fulfillment may involve participating third-party installation partners, depending on location and project scope.

How our guides are researched

Our goal is to separate durable homeowner guidance from sales claims. For permitting, product approvals and licensing, we prioritize official government sources such as municipal building departments, the Florida Building Commission, Miami-Dade Product Control and the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation.

For cost content, we use broad South Florida planning ranges rather than claiming one universal price. Actual pricing depends on measured openings, product series, glass and frame options, design pressure, access, permit scope and opening condition.

What we do not claim

  • We do not claim that a generic online price is a final quote for a specific property.
  • We do not guarantee an insurance discount, financing approval, product availability or installation date.
  • We do not claim that every estimate request will produce multiple competing proposals.
  • We do not present stock or illustrative imagery as proof of a completed Sunward installation.
  • We recommend verifying the contractor and license status before signing any installation agreement.

Why the city pages are different

South Florida permitting and project constraints can change by jurisdiction and property type. Our local pages include city-specific permit links and planning issues such as Broward and Miami-Dade HVHZ requirements, condo access, HOA review, older opening conditions and Palm Beach County wind-debris considerations.

The pages are designed to be useful even if a visitor never submits an estimate request.

How estimate requests work

When a homeowner submits the form, Sunward uses the project ZIP code, project category and contact details to arrange follow-up. Installation or fulfillment may be handled by a participating local partner. Before moving forward, homeowners should review the written proposal, verify contractor credentials and confirm permit and warranty responsibilities.

Contact Sunward

Questions about an estimate request or the information on this site can be directed to Sunward by phone at (954) 951-9094.

If you find a city permit link or official requirement that has changed, we want to correct it. Government permitting systems change often, so homeowners should always confirm current requirements with the authority having jurisdiction.
